Centre Fees 2025-26
* ADDITIONAL SERVICE CHARGE
As the government funding is not intended to cover the costs of meals, other consumables, additional hours or additional services, Bright Beginnings has an additional services and provisions policy which details additional charges. These include all meals, snacks, consumables and additional activities, including any events or activities that are deemed to be over and above the delivery of the EYFS Curriculum, and are explicitly not included in the amount the Government pays us for delivering your child’s high-quality funded place. Parents have the option to opt out of paying for these additional services. All of this is optional for your child but a great opportunity to boost their learning opportunities and personal, physical and social development.
The hourly rate for the Centre is £5.84 with an additional £2.80 charge for our additional services. The day rate will therefore be £86.40 inclusive of the additional services charge.
The hourly rate for either a morning or afternoon session will be £5.84 with an additional £2.80 per hour charge for our additional services. The half day rate will therefore be £43.20 inclusive of the additional services charge.
WORKPLACE SALARY SACRIFICE SCHEME
If you are an employee of the University of Leeds or Bright Beginnings, you can make savings on your childcare fees via your salary. An amendment would be made to your contract of employment to receive a lower salary – a ‘salary exchange’– in return for payment of childcare provided by Bright Beginnings. A saving is made as the value of childcare fees is deducted from your gross salary, before tax and National Insurance is applied.
OUTSTANDING QUALITY
We will continue our policy not to charge for all bank holidays, University closed days and staff training development / training days.
We are committed to maintaining this excellent value and recognise it is important to all our parents when examining the quality of provision. We believe that Bright Beginnings provides an inclusive quality service whilst offering value for money.
