A Space designed for BIG IDEAS
The Atelier offers children a dedicated environment to think, create, experiment, and express themselves. Within this space, children access:
- Woodwork tools and materials
- Modelling resources, including clay, cardboard, wire and loose parts
- Painting opportunities, from easels to collaborative floor murals
- Large-scale creative projects, perfect for building, constructing, and designing
- Table-top and floor-based spaces, giving the children freedom to work in ways that feel natural to them
This flexible setup encourages children to follow their ideas, test solutions, and work both independently and alongside others.
Why the Atelier Matters
Creativity is more than making something beautiful – it is a powerful way for children to develop problem-solving skills, confidence, language, fine motor skills, and emotional expression. In the Atelier, children are supported to:
- experiment with real tools safely
- develop resilience and perseverance
- collaborate and communicate with their peers
- explore materials in open-ended, meaningful play
- celebrate the joy and pride of creating something uniquely their own
A Space for our Community
We know how important it is for families to feel connected to their child’s learning. The Atelier is a place where children’s ideas become visible through projects, photos, and displays. We share their creations with parents and celebrate the skills and confidence they build along the way.
