We are incredibly proud to share some exciting news from the recent NDNA (National Day Nurseries Association) awards.

After being nominated and voted for by our families, and then judged in person by NDNA, Bright Beginnings Childcare Centre was shortlisted as a finalist in two national categories:

• Excellence in Additional Needs
• Nursery of the North

Being recognised at this level was already a significant achievement and a true reflection of the dedication, passion and professionalism shown by our entire team.

Judge’s Recognition

Before announcing the winner of the Nursery of the North category, judges highlighted the following about the winning setting:

“The nursery has a clear and well-established history of excelling in its early years provision. It provides strong evidence of the outcomes achieved for children, with a clear understanding of both what is delivered and why.

The setting actively shares best practice and supports the wider early years sector.

Children’s rights are championed, ensuring their voices are heard and creating a strong sense of belonging.

Staff development and wellbeing are clearly prioritised, with dedicated CPD days, opportunities for growth, and initiatives supporting both staff and parent wellbeing.

And the Winner… We are absolutely delighted to announce that Bright Beginnings Childcare Centre was named Nursery of the North!”
