Preschoolers had a wonderful afternoon meeting some guide dogs. They were introduced to Oasis, who is 3 years old, and Graham, who is 9 years old! The children learned about the important job guide dogs do and how they are trained in “doggie school” before becoming guides. Oasis is an ambassador dog who believes school is fun! The children even mentioned that we should learn more at school too! They were captivated by Graham’s heroic act of saving his partner’s life. To top it off, the children received guide dog stickers, watched a video about guide dogs, and enjoyed some stories and leaflets to look at!
