British Science Week
This week’s #peakeoftheweek coincided with British Science Week, so it was only fitting that we conducted a science experiment of our very own, making our own fizz inflators.
We poured vinegar into an empty plastic bottle, then funneled baking soda into colourful balloons and covered the neck of the bottle with the balloon, letting the baking soda combine with the vinegar. The children were fascinated to see the balloons expand, inflating as if they were being blown up, and all without the use of air or helium!
