This morning the Centre hosted a visit from twenty-five second year student nurses from the School of Healthcare at the University of Leeds! Using checklists provided by the School of Healthcare, the students observed children in five of our play areas in small groups, getting down to their level and getting involved with their activities, gaining really valuable experience in interacting with children for their future careers. Millipedes have been particularly interested in learning about hospitals lately, and had a fantastic time with their visitors, learning about stethoscopes and syringes and roleplaying with dressing up scrubs and first aid kits.
